Rick Carlesco
Rick Carlesco has been in the financial services industry since 1991. He started his career with Prudential Financial Services in Syracuse, NY where he quickly became one of the top advisers in Central New York, winning Prudential’s Academy of Honor Award. He was promoted to manager in his first year. He also earned his LUTCF (Life Underwriting Training Council Award) in 1992.
Rick started his own firm in 1999, IBN Financial Services, Inc. as a FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) Broker Dealer. The firm started with two registered representatives and currently has over 85 reps all over the country. Growing this firm has always been a passion, always believing that people wanted to be treated by the “platinum rule” treat people the way they want to be treated. Clients always come first. That has been the consistent message Rick has presented to his clients and his representatives ever since he started his career.
Rick holds six securities licenses as a financial services representative and as a registered principle. He also holds several insurance licenses. This makes him well qualified to have a conversation with anyone concerning their wealth development, preservation, and deployment, to how to best protect their lives, families, property, and business. Rick has lived in the Liverpool, NY area (a suburb of Syracuse) since 1980 and has been married to Kelly since 1982. Rick is also an avid Syracuse University sports fan and loves golf. He started a charity in 2014 called Victory for Vets, Inc. raising over $59,000 to help veterans with Post Traumatic Stress. He also was the past president of a local home for the elderly called The Ladies Home of Oswego an institution in Central New York since 1872. Almost everyone he knows, family and friends, live within a mile of his house, which is across the street from his office, easy commute.
